Hi there, this is Aryansh and in this post I'm gonna tell you how can you save time while coping files,
especially, the huge ones.
Want to copy a huge file? Well, sure you can.
But it's gonna take a hell lot of time.
Read More to know how to save your time that you waste in copying huge files.
The first thing that I want to tell you is that this requires a download. The download is very small though.
Many of us have suffered through this and know that it really sucks.
Here's a software for people who have suffered through this and want to get away with it.
TeraCopy is that software which I'm talking about.
The first thing that this software lets you do is that it helps you copy files faster. TeraCopy, instead of taking all files at once in a bulk, copies files one by one which saves time and even resources of your computer. But according to the site:
"TeraCopy uses dynamically adjusted buffers to reduce the seek times. Asynchronous copying speeds up the file transfer between two physical hard drives."
Another thing is that, it lets you pause the file transfer, or copying in simple words, just in case you have to do some heavy work that may load up your CPU, you can pause the file transfer and do whatever you have to do. This feature has helped me a lot in many cases(sometime it is just playing games. Haha!).
And one of the most important and last *useful* feature of this software is that you can recover files in case of an error. Here's what the site says:
"In case of a copy error, TeraCopy will try several times to recover and, in the worse case scenario, will simply skip the file, not terminating the entire transfer. "
You can download it from here.
That's it for now...
