Hi there, this is Aryansh and in this post I'm gonna put forward my views for Samsung's TouchWiz UI(User Interface).
We all are aware of the fact that Samsung is a big hit these days and every second day we see a new Galaxy coming out and all that. Every Samsung phone coming out has this TouchWiz of theirs and I don't know why don't they just stop it and start giving people the stock Android experience. I have always been wondering that what is wrong with all these Samsung Phones that I personally don't like, it was something, something that was different, something that we don't find on any other High - End Brand's phones, and then after a few months! I found out what is wrong with all these Samsung phones. It's their User Interface, the TouchWiz. Oh, Good Lord! Why don't they stop making phones for kids and get into the serious line? Why? They have the hardware, they have the software, in looks the stock Android beats the hell out of iOS(after the ICS). No else can compare to their Galaxy S3's hardware specs. The Mali GPU, the 1.6GHz CPU and what not. The super awesome camera. But still when it comes to that professional look, the finish, it lacks a bit. It is good for teenagers and young people, but the glossy plastic doesn't fit right in a business person's pocket. I think, till date, the Samsung phone I like the most is the Google Nexus, and I guess that is just because it is not a Samsung flagship Android phone. If it would have been under Samsung then we all know that they would have attacked it with their TouchWiz. I don't know why I find it to be so much cartoony and animated or something but whatever it is, it really sucks. I wish Samsung starts making phones with the stock Android and I'm sure that it'll be a big hit.Another thing is that it spoils the real Android thing, I mean look at the pics above, the icons are all coloured and everything seems so animated, even the settings page has everything coloured and painted sort of. It's like when we were in nursery we had everything coloured and we found them very attractive for the same. Nothing looks like Android but the slider top the screen. Of course you can't modify each and every App's icon, but sure you can modify what's in your hand, the preloaded apps and the other things.
