Microsoft Surface: Is it worth buying?

Hi there, this is Aryansh and in this post I'm gonna tell you how Microsoft Surface is, and should you idea or not.

In this post I will not review the Microsoft Surface, but will give you a basic idea as to what it is and should you buy it or not. Read More to find out.

Microsoft's surface is really a very nice notebook/tablet/laptop any day. It is a tough competitor to Apple's iPad and in the coming hours or days or weeks or month. We'll get to know the full technical specifications of this thing. For now, I'd like to call it a tablet.

This tablet has everything you want, like, really everything. You can attach a keyboard and that is one of the greatest things about this tablet. I love this thing for the same purpose. This is a great "tool"(In my words, hehe!) for bloggers, like me, who love to write about stuff and can write anywhere. My current problem is related to this thing only. I go places around the town and notice many a things that I can write about and post on my blog. But sadly, I have a desktop and can't carry my laptop everywhere and for that excuse I wish I had a tablet which had an attached keyboard which is portable and I wished that it had a stand too. And touchscreen too was a requirement. And I seriously want all this.
By good luck, Microsoft Surface is the key that I needed. Microsoft Surface has all these features, and since it is a tablet, taking it out and jolting some keys anywhere in public wouldn't look awkward at all.

When it comes to it's thickness, I don't think that it is thick at all when it comes to the aptitude of this tablet. It features a USB port(can be used to connect a USB Modem), microSD card slot, HD video out. These are just some of the specifications that it has to offer.

There are two cameras on this. A front-facing and another rear-facing. Both the cameras are supposed to record HD videos which is excellent for a reviewer like me. With that functionality, I can review anything, anywhere. It is just amazing.

I know it is available in two variants, one is the Windows RT one and the other is the Windows 8 pro one. But here, I am not going into tech specs, just the basic and common features of both.

The keyboards that we get with them happen to work as touch covers of the surface and they are spill proof. So you don't have to worry about sitting with this tablet in a coffee shop.

It, just like the iPad 2, turns off the display when you flip it over or, in simple words, put on the cover. This will save you a lot of battery life. It is supposed to have 2 GB of RAM and that is more than enough for all your multitasking and stuff.

It is a writer's delight! It has everything a writer wants, Microsoft Office is also included in this.

If you are a person who does a lot of video calling and stuff like that, it sure is the piece for you. For you can take it anywhere and start a conversation.

The last, the battery. The battery is supposed to last for 10 hours I think. It is enough for a day.

My overall opinion is that you should buy this! It is totally a value for money sort of thing.

That's it for now...
